Starter

Students have to listen to the teacher and copy exactly what he/she says.

This activity is closely related to Pronunciation (7T2). The material in this activity provides the teacher with entertaining French tongue-twisters and Spanish trabalenguas which students are challenged to repeat accurately using appropriate intonation and emphasis. Since tongue-twisters are tricky to pronounce, the teacher may wish to rehearse their performance in advance so that they present a good model of intonation and expression for students to follow.
