Bring the curriculum to life with F1 in Schools

The location for this year’s F1 in Schools Technology Challenge world finals has now been confirmed as Malaysia. This means that the UK champions, Dynamic of St John Payne Comprehensive School in Essex, will be flying out in September to compete once again against the best teams from 30 other countries.

As the members of Dynamic will attest, participation in the F1 in Schools challenge has wide-ranging benefits for students, particularly bringing subjects such as engineering, business studies, physics and graphic design to life in a practical, real-world setting.

Increasing numbers of schools are recognising these benefits and choosing to integrate F1 in Schools into lessons by running a cross-curricular project for a whole year group. The F1 in Schools Curriculum Resource makes this easy to do, offering a project timetable, management guidance and over 50 detailed lesson plans in nine subjects.
