Using PDF files
PDF (portable document format) files are used for the text-based training material in InContexT: SEN. These files are easy to view onscreen and to print out, but they cannot be modified. In order to view them, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Many computers have this installed already; if yours does not, run the Acrobat Reader Installer.exe (found at the top level of the InContexT: SEN CD-ROMs). A separate installer is provided for Macintosh users in the Extras folder on the CD-ROMs.
You may view a PDF document by clicking on its link in the list of material. Once you have opened the document, you can then either print it out or use it onscreen. See more information on using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Alternatively, use the online help within the Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
