School Improvement with ICT provides an invaluable strategic planning tool for school leaders. There are six modules in the series, which are delivered on three CDs:

• The first CD deals with Strategic Leadership of ICT, and Staff ICT Training and Development.
• The second CD deals with Learning with ICT, and Using ICT for Assessment, Monitoring and Reporting.
• The third CD is about Reducing the Administrative Burden, and Networks and Hardware.

You are encouraged to use the CDs in this series dynamically and efficiently by selecting the sections that are most relevant to you and your school. You can audit your personal and school needs as you work your way through the materials.

You may find that you disagree with some of the views expressed, or perhaps feel that some of the suggestions are inappropriate for you. Please do not let this put you off, since School Improvement with ICT does not set out to be prescriptive. Rather, it aims to offer a selection of ideas, examples and background information that can be adapted to suit different circumstances. Some elements will provide direct assistance; others general guidance; and many will simply provoke thought.
