About RAISEonline

RAISEonline is an online tool produced jointly by the DCSF and Ofsted, introduced in 2006 as a replacement for the Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) and Performance and Assessment Report (PANDA). Experienced users of the PAT and PANDA will recognise much of the content of RAISEonline – the main difference is that the service is run via a Web site, which enables customised reports to be generated through various interactive features and then exported for later use.

RAISEonline is intended to offer schools as comprehensive a picture of their performance in national tests as it is possible to gain from the data held by the DCSF and Ofsted, and to enable school managers to conduct detailed analysis of their own to explore particular issues relating to their school. This information is invaluable when completing Ofsted’s school self-evaluation form (SEF), and when looking for areas of good practice and areas that need attention during day-to-day school management.
