About the author
Kathryn Witt is Head of Art & Design at Impington Village College. In 1995, she completed an MA at The Institute of Education, London. Her dissertation, ‘Critical Studies with a Critical Edge’, focused on the developments in the teaching of historical and critical studies in art. She has worked in Cambridgeshire city and rural schools across the 11-18 group for 29 years. Kathryn regularly mentors trainee teachers and has worked closely with Homerton College, Cambridge, giving seminars and as a member of the art panel.
