This part of the resource offers you activities for use during the induction period. The activities are designed to be flexible to fit your particular circumstances. For example, they may be presented in sessions, as part of a professional development programme,or by your induction tutor/NQT manager.

Alternatively, you may wish to conduct your own research using these activities as a starting point. The resource is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all areas of which you should be aware by the end of induction. Instead, it is intended to help to reinforce, consolidate and develop your existing knowledge so that you are in a well-prepared position for your future as a fully-qualified classroom teacher.
