Using the resource
All provided on a simple Web site that your school can subscribe to every year, the material in the F1 in Schools Curriculum Resource is designed to be downloaded and shared in your school, so that all departments can benefit, and everyone in your school can find what they need.
Accessing the material
All you need to access the F1 in Schools Curriculum Resource is a Web browser, and your school’s user name and password, which are provided when you receive your order. The annual subscription price includes a full site licence to download, share and copy all the material in the F1 in Schools Curriculum Resource for 12 months. All the material is compatible with any computer (PC or Macintosh). A wealth of editable digital files is included which can be viewed onscreen or printed on demand.
Equipment
To complete the project (ie building a balsa wood car powered by compressed gas), pupils will need specific materials and equipment. If your school registers to compete in the
F1 in Schools competition, some materials for building the car are provided for free, and other specific equipment can be purchased from
Denford Ltd.
