How does it work?
The Extended School Survey requires somebody in the authority or cluster to be the 'administrator' and our point of contact. This would typically be the Extended Schools Coordinator. We need to be told which schools you wish to use the Extended School Survey with, their postcodes, whether they are primary, secondary or special schools, and which maps you wish to purchase. You can provide this information either by emailing us at ess@pearson.co.uk, telephoning us on 01223 350555 or faxing us on 01223 356484. We then set up the Extended School Survey site and send passwords.
What the administrator sees
When the administrator logs on, they are taken to a page (see below) showing the progress of the survey. When they are satisfied with the level of response, they should press the 'request report' button.
What the users see
When a user logs on, they see question screens similar to the one shown below:
Once they have been through the question screens, they will see a summary screen, as below:
Here they may go back and alter any of their responses before they are saved.
