Information and Communication Technology is a practical subject and schools must ensure that students have not only a thorough theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills to go with it. Practice Exercises in ICT Skills offer activities at a selection of levels (providing helpful progression) and cover a range of important application types. Furthermore, they provide relevant contexts for the exercises and involve students in real-life problems.

12 complete exercises per pack

Each pack contains 12 exercises plus support sheets, a glossary of terms and references to both the National Curriculum and relevant vocational courses. As such, it can be viewed as the basis for a whole course, as a valuable resource for extra work on a particular set of skills, or as a bank of self-contained activities to be dipped into as required.

The exercises cover a broad range of skills; some are single, stand-alone units, others form themed series of increasing complexity. Each exercise contains:
