Mini-Plays are very short, self-contained scenes. They are designed to be learnt, rehearsed and performed in small groups by a class of students in a one-hour Drama lesson. Fun and easy to learn, each play is an exercise in style and can be used as a starting point for coursework units on script writing.

Ideal for Drama lessons

Each mini-play is structured in the same way and has the following features:

• four characters, but most could be played by three or five
• equal parts for all students
• many characters are non-gender-specific
• each character speaks twice or three times.

The pack contains 50 mini-plays. Sections include: melodrama, horror, science fiction, Shakespeare and Wild West. Some plays are also mini-serials with cliffhanger endings; classes can perform an episode per lesson.
