Using the Internet - Modern Foreign Languages
Steve Clarke
Bring the world into your classroom
This popular title can be used as a reference source for the teacher as well as providing work for classes, groups and even individuals. As more and more schools gain access to the Internet, teachers are becoming aware of the excellent resources that exist on the World Wide Web. However, finding the best sites and working out how to use them effectively is time-consuming and often frustrating.
Full support for teacher and student
Using the Internet – Modern Foreign Languages has been compiled to save teachers time and provide an imaginative bank of ideas that can be applied throughout schools and colleges. In addition to accessible student material, there is detailed support for the teacher with a special section on generic issues relating to the use of the Internet in the teaching of Modern Foreign Languages. 32 student worksheets cover a range of topics in French, German and Spanish.
The material is divided into topics; each of which includes:
- a general introduction explaining the section and its application
- selected Web addresses with a brief review of the content
- related lesson plans and activity outlines
- student worksheets.
The topics cover material required for KS3, GCSE and AS/A-level.
