Using the Internet - English
Peter Miles
Bring the world into your classroom
Using the Internet – English has been compiled to save teachers time and provide an imaginative and curriculum-based bank of ideas. The support material has been carefully written to take account of the differing circumstances in schools and colleges and the activities do not demand that pupils have access to the Web.
The pack is divided into a number of main sections, each of which includes:
- a general introduction explaining the section and its application
- ten to 20 Web addresses with a brief review of the content
- related lesson plans
- student worksheets
- teacher's notes and curriculum references.
The topics cover material required for KS3, GCSE and post-16 study and a host of useful Web addresses, student sheets and a glossary of Internet terms are also included.
Note that this product is also available as part of KS3 English and Drama Network Resources and the Cross-curricular ICT Toolkit.
