A creative and innovative publication which allows classes, groups or individuals to assemble, complete and work with life-size outlines. The kit includes giant outline posters to be pieced together by the pupil and additional material to be added to the assembled outline.
Providing advanced material, this kit is aimed at upper Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The giant outlines are more detailed and additional illustrations are supplemented by a selection of cross-sections of key structures.
Curriculum coverage extra to that for Giant Plant Kit 1 includes:
- photosynthesis and the factors affecting its rate
- absorption of water and minerals by root hairs
- transpiration.
