Meeting real needs

Founded in 1991 by partners George and Mark Pearson, Pearson Publishing has a proud record of innovation, applying technology imaginatively to product and service development and delivery. Its strengths include best-selling student texts, innovative digital leadership tools, generic learning systems, and extensive resources for curriculum management and delivery.

Through its links with other members of the Pearson Publishing Group, it is able to operate in a highly integrated fashion, handling all aspects of editorial, design, programming, server hosting, warehousing and despatch from its Cambridge headquarters.

Pearson Publishing has a reputation for responding rapidly to changing circumstances and providing timely, specialist support to institutions and practitioners across the education sector. Change continues apace with an ever greater emphasis on digital delivery, staff development and partnership work with the Cambridge Institute of Technology (INTEC) and the National Association of Professional Teaching Assistants (NAPTA).

Always keen to recruit high-calibre staff, Pearson Publishing prides itself on developing young graduates in particular. Despite its list of over 400 authors, the business remains open to speculative submissions from potential contributors, and searches actively for groups of schools and individual institutions to collaborate with over development projects.
