Knowledge and understanding

This section provides resources that contribute towards achieving one of the three key requirements of the citizenship curriculum – knowledge and understanding about becoming informed citizens.

Some of the resources can be used to supplement the student site material on these topics. Alternatively, teachers may wish to use these separately as free-standing resources. In some instances, material may be repeated between different resources, which are provided for the purposes of differentiation. A selection of useful Web sites is also recommended.
