When I drag a person onto the grid with no teachers/parents set up, I get runtime error 9

This problem has been addressed in the latest release of the program.


How do I show the names of pupils as well as parents on printouts?

Select Preferences from the Edit menu, and check the box marked Show Pupils with Parents. Then, wherever the name of a parent is shown, both within the program and on printouts, the name of the corresponding pupil(s) will be shown in brackets as well.


When I try to import from a CSV file, I get "input past end of file"

This error usually occurs if the format of your CSV file is not that which was expected. CSV files should contain your data, with fields separated by commas, with each record on a separate line, separated by carriage returns. If in doubt, open the file in a text editor, such as Notepad, to check.

In some cases, opening a CSV file in Microsoft Excel and saving it again will help to put the file in the correct format. You should not, for example, put the names of teachers on a single line separated by commas; each one should be on a separate line.

I get "Error 6: Overflow" when printing

Printing a document including a large image can cause overflow. The error can be avoided by removing the image, or exporting to Word and printing from there.
